I hope everyone is keeping well. As the government is easing lockdown measures we would hope that you are all getting out and about a little more. Especially during this lovely spell of weather we are having. As you can imagine if we were in nursery right now, we would be spending more time outside and preparing your children for the transition into P1. This year will look very different from previous years, you will especially notice this if your child has older siblings. Hopefully, your child’s primary school will make contact with you in the coming weeks and suggest ways in which they can start the transition process with your family.

Some ideas you could do at the moment would be to look at your child’s Primary School website. Access the P1 class page if they have one. Look at the pictures of the school on the website. Some schools are doing virtual tours of the classrooms and short videos from the teachers. Check to see if your child’s school is doing this.

Next week I will post a link to our end of year survey. This is completed by all parents every year and it helps us as a nursery to inform our 3 year School Development Plan. (More details on this next week)
