Last week was a great week. We are so happy to see so many of our parents, children and even some siblings engaging in home learning. The level of work is absolutely outstanding!! We can tell from the expressions on your children’s faces that they are really enjoying learning with you at home.
This week will be a little different. The focus of this week is Children’s Mental Health. During this time of lockdown – understandably everyone is feeling a little different. During the first lockdown in March, we had the fantastic weather and were able to enjoy the outdoors a bit more than we are at the moment. We would like to focus on things that make us happy this week. We know we can’s see friends and loved ones, but there are other ways to keep in contact. Why not facetime a friend or elderly relative, looking at photos in an album or on your phone with your child and talk about experiences you have shared with that person. Children need to know that this current lockdown will be over very soon. This way of life is not going to last and that we will be able to hug friends and family before we know it. We have all missed that so very much.
We are looking forward to seeing you next Friday . We will have the packs ready for pick up at the following times.
- Mrs Morrow’s Class – 10am – 11am
- Mrs Jones Class 11am – 12pm
If you would like to bring your child along too we would love to see them and have a quick chat with them.
